  Install Docker

Installing Docker

Docker provides installation instructions for MacOS, Windows, and Linux. It's recommended that you install the stable version.

If you're on MacOS, you can also install via Homebrew:

brew install Caskroom/cask/docker-toolbox

Verify your installation

You may need to start Docker after installation. Check that you have it installed from the command line by running:

docker

You should get a list of commands and options. To check the version, you can provide the --versionflag.

docker --version
